Breath New Life Into Your WordPress Site

WordPress Transform

Rebuilding a website is costly and time intensive. Some websites can be saved by making a few strategic improvements.

WordPress Transform is for you if any of these apply:

  • You already have a WordPress site that could use a refresh.

If you don't already have a site, have a look at my custom WordPress site building service.

  • Your WordPress site isn't performing as well as it used to.

  • You understand that redesigning a website is a collaborative, creative effort that involves asking and answering significant and sometimes complex questions.

Are you on the fence about whether or not you should budget for a redesign? Can you afford not to?

  • 72 percent of people demand that a website is mobile friendly. (Infront Webworks)
  • 38 percent of visitors will stop engaging with a website if the content or layout is unattractive. (Blue Corona)
  • 94 percent of people think that a badly designed website is untrustworthy. (Tyton Media)
  • 47 percent of people expect a web page to load in no more than 2 seconds. (Blue Corona)

Don’t think of this as a budget service. This is a highly targeted and thorough clean-up operation designed to deliver results.

WordPress Transform includes:

  • Thorough review of your website design, SEO, site structure, and page loading speed

  • Planning session with you to discuss what I find and compare that with your goals for the website

  • You recieve an outline indicating proposed improvements

  • One-time WordPress core and third-party plugin updates, security configuration, and Google Analytics setup

  • Implementation of all accepted changes

A typical WordPress transformation will involve 20 to 30 individual improvements. The changes focus on increasing the loading speed of key pages, usability, SEO, and design.

In 30 days, we'll have a debriefing session. Together we'll review the completed work and discuss the effect of all the improvements.

What will you do exactly?

For the first step of your WordPress transformation, I'll go to your current website as if I was a regular visitor and try to use it. I'll schedule your service, buy your product, sign up for your email list, use your contact form, and try everything else. This is a thorough (and ruthless) process. I make a note every single thing that confuses or distracts me away from completing these tasks. Solving just those problems can be enough to really improve a site's conversion rate. I'll then review what I find with you and propose improvements for your site.

What if I want revisions after you're done?

Working on a website is a collaborative process that involves a lot of communication. You'll have every opportunity to give feedback. WordPress Transform includes one round of revisions.

How sure are you that you can improve my conversion rate?

Pretty sure! I have more than 15 years of experience in website design and development. I've worked on nearly a hundred WordPress sites and more than a hundred websites other than WordPress. If I can't come up with at least 20 ways to improve your site, I won't take on the project.

Is my site a good candidate for a WordPress Transform?

If you have an existing WordPress site and want to create a better experience for your customers, bring in more traffic, get better conversion rates, and increase your sales, then you're a good fit.

What if I need help with a smaller job?

I have ongoing relationships with dozens of clients and perform smaller tasks for them all the time. I can fit you in too.

I have a bigger project, can you help me?

Absolutely. Contact me and we can talk about your bigger WordPress project.

Do you work with non-WordPress sites?

We can talk about this too. I work with Shopify sites as well but only in select cases when I think Shopify is the best solution. I've worked almost exclusively with WordPress for the last 8 years or so. However, WordPress isn't the only tool in the box. Be assured that I'll let you know if something other than WordPress will work better for you.
