You don’t have any traffic. Your budget for marketing your website is less than zero. But you have this idea that if you just keep going then the traffic will come. In the meantime, you’re not generating any leads, you’re not making any sales and you have no idea whether your sales funnel even works.
Promoting their business is one of the top concerns that I hear about from my clients. When you make an earnest effort to promote your business online you’ll be building a foundation for your online presence brick by brick. You’ll see benefits to your brand awareness, referrals from past customers, and increased sales as leads get turned into customers. Promotion with sustainable results is not necessarily fast. But if you want your business to work, you have to promote it.
A promotional campaign is only a tactic (it can be a useful one) but there’s no way to know how well it’s working unless there’s already a big picture view to give it context.
